Jokey IBÉRICA, S.L., has received a grant for its energy saving and efficiency project

In the end of 2023, Jokey IBÉRICA created a new standard for sustainable packaging: JSP 33700 / LSP 33700. This has been developed in collaboration with Chemajos, the world market leader in peeled garlic. Together they have developed a 3.7 litre rectangular container with an integrated handle and hermetic lid, compatible with In-Mold Labelling (IML) technology. This new container not only represents a significant step forward in terms of design and functionality, but is also an important contribution to our joint mission to protect the environment.

Jokey IBÉRICA, S.L., has now received a grant for its energy saving and efficiency project "New High Efficiency Electric Technology Plastics Injection Station" co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), coordinated by IDAE and managed by the Autonomous Regions, under the National Energy Efficiency Fund, with the aim of achieving a cleaner and more sustainable economy. An energy saving and efficiency project has been developed to optimise energy consumption through the incorporation of a new all-electric technology injector. Thanks to the project, the savings potential is 110.39 toe per year.
