Jokey Group welcomes new CFO

The Jokey Group has appointed Thorsten Lückmann as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from May 17, 2025. Thorsten Lückmann succeeds Peter Dörmbach, who is retiring after 15 years as CFO and more than 40 years with the company.

After more than four decades with the company, Peter Dörmbach, long-time Chief Financial Officer of the Jokey Group, is retiring. On May 17, 2025, Thorsten Lückmann took over as Chief Financial Officer at one of the world's leading manufacturers of plastic packaging.

Peter Dörmbach's time in office saw key developments in the company's history. He oversaw the change of name of the main plants in Wipperfürth and Gummersbach from a limited liability company (GmbH) to a European Company (Societas Europaea/SE) as well as the national and international expansion of Jokey. He will be succeeded by Thorsten Lückmann, a native who has known Jokey for a long time, most recently as Head of Controlling. He was already appointed Managing Director of the Gummersbach and Wipperfürth locations in January 2025.

“We are delighted to have found a great successor to Peter Dörmbach as CFO in Thorsten Lückmann. We would like to thank Peter Dörmbach for over 40 years of outstanding work. We wish them both all the best for the future,” says Jens Stadter, CEO of the Jokey Group.
