Jokey & environment
Environmental protection is directly comprehensible with Jokey. Already since the establishment of the company, accruing plastic waste is led to internal recycling and reused to 100%. Polyethylene and polypropylene are ideally suited for recycling. Thus, the raw material itself is beneficial. We are utilising ecologically compatible additives for our products. According to the principle "less can be more" we were able to achieve material savings of up to 20%, despite of better product quality.
Finally there is the energy consumption. Here, too, we recognise considerable progress by new recovery technologies.
It is a matter of course that our efforts for noise control, emission, water and fire protection are on a high level. The ecology award "Oecopack" we have received in 1993 for our eco-friendly packages reveals that this is the right way. We continue to work on it for further improvement.
